How much does car rental cost in 2026? Honest pricing guide

On most car rental sites, you don't find out the real price until you've clicked through the entire booking. We do the opposite: here's every cost, with worked examples.

The base: the daily rate — and why it gets cheaper

At VING, the daily rate depends on how long you rent, because our fixed costs (handover, cleaning, administration) are spread over more days with longer rentals:

1 nap22 225 Ft
2-7 nap19 354 Ft /nap
8-10 nap17 122 Ft /nap
11+ nap14 816 Ft /nap

What's included in the base price — and what isn't?

Included: the mandatory motor liability insurance in every rental
With full insurance, the nationwide motorway vignette is also included
Optional:

VING Extra Coverage €11/day

(fast pick-up, premium assistance even in at-fault cases, unlimited km, use abroad, nationwide vignette)

Never included: fuel/charging, parking, foreign tolls, traffic fines

Deposit: amount locked on your card

which we release after the rental ends successfully — so it's not a cost, it's a guarantee
